Broken Bow is the gateway to the richest grasslands in the world, the Nebraska Sandhills. The region's lakes and rivers decorate the landscape while the sandhills gently roll over the ever-changing beauty in Nebraska's four-season environment. The rich farmland surrounding Broken Bow yields bountiful harvests each year, and the sandhills are home to some of the finest cattle herds.

 

Broken Bow's citizens take pride in friendly neighborhoods, downtown commerce, and community events. A walk around the square offers a variety of stores and specialty shops for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy the city square, park, and gazebo year-round.


Beginning in May, and until mid October, the square hosts a farmer’s market on Thursday’s where you can find home-grown fruits and vegetables as well as fresh baked goods and crafts.
